Seniors take the lead

Senioren Zelf aan Zet (Seniors take the lead) in Roosendaal's villages

Wouw – During four themed sessions, seniors (55+) talk with each other under expert guidance about ageing well in Wouw, Wouwse Plantage, Heerle and Moerstraten.

The topics covered are housing, care and municipal policy on care for older people.

The first session on Monday 7 September is about the importance of thinking now about later; awareness and interactive conversation are central. Housing, care and well-being are covered in the second and third sessions on 5 October and 2 November. The question "what can the municipality do for our seniors?" follows in the fourth session on 30 November.

Peter Moll, project leader of Senioren Zelf aan Zet at Senioren Brabant-Zeeland, leads the conversations. Experts from the municipality of Roosendaal are also present. All people aged 55+ from the villages are very welcome on these mornings.

All sessions are held at De Geerhoek, Kloosterstraat 21 in Wouw. Walk-in with coffee/tea from 9:30, ending around 12:30. Registration is not required but is appreciated, via email info@seniorenwouw.nl
